Additional Information: We have had difficulty manufacturing our design with 3d printers and silicon molds in even small quantitates, and would like to move to an injection molded design. We would like to simplify the design, but keep some of the basic functionality:
* A dissection Lens with a working distance to put experimental preps underneath.
* Focus adjustment for up to 4cm
* A replaceable bed that can be changed for experiments.
Additionally, we would love to have these:
* A high-powered microscope lens (for viewing slides)
* A place that we can add a PCB with a simple battery, switch and LEDs for lighting
We are currently using a jewelers loop ($4.00) as our dissection objective lens with LED light... but we would love the new design to remove this need. It should be possible to source just the lens, but since we already had this design... we never switched it.
