IR garage door sensor brim shade

Additional Information: Basically, on the other side of this garage door, there’s a sensor / reflector that tells the garage door opener that the path is clear to close. When the sun is setting, the sunlight confuses the sensor and prevents the door from closing unless you stand outside casting a shadow on the sensor or block the direct sunlight from hitting the sensor in some way. A shade or brim like a hat almost should do the job.
