Description: Attempting to 3d scan/print a PCV hose for a 1990 c1500 since the auto part is no longer manufactured.

Project views: 190

Project status: New Now accepting: Designs

Design Type-Tier: technical-silver

Design Price: US$4995.00 | Payment Pending

Fabrication Price: Payment Pending

Order Number: 20150702012902-220-11-0

Additional Information: Its a hardened rubber hose that is used between the PCV valve and intake manifold. The hose would need to withstand ~220 to ~250 F in order to withstand the gases/heat coming from the engine. I would need the part 3D scanned first and then printed later since these hoses collapse every few years. Right now I just need a CAD drawing and potentially printed later on down the road. Not sure on what it would to get a 3D model of it, so I'm open to negotiation.

Since you've posted this, I believe powder-bed fusion 3D printing might be able to help with this.  They have a durable yet rubber-like TPU which I've seen used in cooling systems.
